At The Dojo, we partnered with independent artist Christian Aycock on his debut single, transforming his chord progressions and lyrics into a fully realized record. Christian provided the song’s core—chords, lyrics, voice memos, and in-studio vocal performances—while our team interpreted the harmony and built detailed mock-ups that guided the production. From those mock-ups we fully co-wrote, arranged, produced, mixed, and mastered the track, preserving Christian’s vocal identity while expanding the sonic palette. The result is a polished, emotive single crafted at The Dojo; West End & Oakland city’s most accommodating and multi-talented independent boutique studio.
